Elijah and The Widow Of Zarephath|Read The Scripture: 1 Kings 17: 7-24 (KJV)
In a momentous encounter, the Lord commands Elijah to deliver a message to King Ahab, foretelling a severe drought as a consequence of idolatry and leading the people astray. Fleeing to Brook Kerith, Elijah finds sustenance as the ravens bring him food day and night.

Miraculously, the widow's act of kindness is rewarded when Elijah assures her that her meager provisions of flour and oil will never run out.
Tragedy strikes when the widow's son falls gravely ill and passes away. Undeterred, Elijah fervently prays to God, and in a breathtaking display of divine power, the boy is brought back to life.
