Worthy Is The Lamb| Read The Scripture: Matthew 21-27 (KJV)
Jesus, sent by God as the Messiah, fulfills the prophesies of the Old Testament prophets and the long-awaited hopes of the Jewish people. His courage, love, mercy, and grace are embodied in His ultimate sacrifice. 'Worthy Is The Lamb' recounts the final days of Jesus' ministry as He prepares His followers for His impending death, burial, and resurrection. Amidst this, He forewarns His disciples of an imminent betrayal.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus is betrayed by Judas while in fervent prayer. Despite His plea for vigilance, His disciples succumb to sleep, and Roman guards arrive to arrest Him. Peter, accused of being a follower of Jesus, denies knowing Him. Overwhelmed by remorse, Judas, realizing his grave error, is unable to bear the weight of his betrayal as Jesus is crucified.
